So after what feels like years of preparing, collecting, packing and then unpacking an array of crap, I've finally finished moving into my swanky dorm room.
( april's new den o' kitsch! )
It still kind of looks like a prison because it's a dorm room, but overall, not so bad. I like the 60s theme that emerged as I was buying stuff (it wasn't really planned) and I'm proud that I didn't waste embarrassing amounts of Mommy and Daddy's money to decorate the place.
Meanwhile, it's been quiet here so far, but that's probably because everyone hasn't moved in yet. I'm just waiting for them to unroll the vodka water slide in the hallway. After all, this is supposed to be a party school.

All of my favorite clothes are fall clothes. Last year, I wore a faded black denim miniskirt with motorcycle boots and a long sleeved gray t-shirt almost every damn day. I need a new, identical shirt though, because the old one has a conspicuous hole in it!
If I feel like making an effort to look cutesy, my favorite outfit consists of a knee length black dress/jumper thing with a stripey shirt underneath, black tights and ankle boots with a two inch heel. It is required to have messily curled hair that is slightly dirty (washed the day before), red lipstick and a red octopus pin when wearing this.
